The mission of St.
Margaret's School,
in the spirit of Catherine McAuley, is to provide an
environment which will foster and develop a loving,
caring community where everyone feels welcomed, respected
and loved, thereby creating a strong spiritual dimension
to our daily life, affirming our Christian commitment.
Our Mission, therefore,
is essentially:
- to recognise the unique needs
of each pupil and to optimize individual development
in all areas.
- to enable pupils to acquire knowledge
of, and respect for, spiritual, moral and cultural
values.
- to develop individual potential,
willing and independent learners and the highest standards
in spiritual, moral, social and academic life.
- to provide wide-ranging opportunities,
seeking to identify and develop talents in artistic,
cultural and sporting pursuits.
- to provide opportunities for
pupils to participate in prayer, worship and liturgy.
- to recognise, appreciate and
celebrate cultural, aesthetic and creative achievements.
- to sustain and nurture the partnership
between home and school.
- to strengthen relationships with
the local community, parish and wider world, and foster
love and care for the environment
