Drama is an enjoyable study which allows pupils to experience a feeling of achievement and subsequently develop self-confidence. Great emphasis is placed on co-operation and the ability of a pupil to work and interact with others. It also develops a pupil's interest in the performing arts. Opportunities are provided for pupils to take part in school productions.

 

Pupils are regularly given the opportunity to visit local and provincial theatres, e.g. Mayflower Theatre, Southampton - pantomime, Festival Theatre, Chichester - 'Phantom of the Opera', Minerva Theatre, Chichester - 'Sleep Tight'
